I am a firm believer that every single person has a talent, a gift, to share with the world. Perhaps that comes across as someone that’s bought into a “positive worldview” where positive thinking can help you overcome anything. Although there is some truth to the notion of the power of positive thinking, that’s not what I’m talking about.
I’m talking about the uniqueness of the individual. Believe it or not, YOU were fearfully and wonderfully made. Yes, you read that right. You were designed, you were planned from the beginning of time, and in the end, you were made into a person. A wonderful person. You were not an accidental occurrence – a biological consequence of a reproductive act. No, you were more than that. And I’m glad you’re here reading this article.
Rather than spending the mental capacity to argue a point that approaches the spiritual, I’d rather focus on you. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t shy away from those debates because we are not just physical creations, but also spiritual beings with the capacity to exercise faith and be drawn closer to our Creator. That’s just a another topic for another day.
Whether you’re with me on the spiritual aspect of my perspective, I hope you’re at least open to the prospect of you being a special individual. I think the world around us wants so badly for us all to be the same – to be a collective. But we’re not. We have different desires, passions, motivations, inspirations, and ambitions. And we have them at differing times in our lives.
